The Family Man Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on February 12, 2021. The spy thriller’s first season started streaming on Amazon Prime Video on September 20, 2019. The Family Man 2, produced by Raj and DK, is one of the most awaited web series of the year. On a bigger scale than The Family Man 1, the new season is made and promises to be more intriguing and have deadlier villains.

THE FAMILY MAN SEASON 2 IS GOING TO RELEASE ON FEBRUARY 12

Within a little more than a month, the Family Man fans’ wait will be over. To be right, 36 days. Yeah, that’s how long you have to wait for Srikant Tiwari to reach you (Manoj Bajpayee). Season 1 of Family Man was published about one and a half years ago and ended up on a cliff-hanger. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the sequel to the spy thriller since then. The show received rave reviews from critics on its release from the public, and the sequel is anticipated to be as engaging as the first season.

THE FAMILY MAN SEASON 2 STORYLINE AND PLOT

Srikant Tiwari (Bajpayee) is coming back with the Family Man sequel. In the new season, though trying to find a balance between his personal and professional life, Srikant will be pitted against a new antagonist, Raji, played by Samantha Akkineni. Amazon Prime Video posted a new web series motion poster, unveiling the release date, with a tagline that states,’ No One Is Safe This Time.’ In Season 1, Moosa (Neeraj Madhav) was the nemesis of Srikant. Since he is dead, Raji is going to replace him in Season 2 of The Family Man.

WHAT IS THE FAMILY MAN ALL ABOUT?

Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly works at the National Intelligence Agency as a senior analyst, is the subject of The Family Man. He and his staff are responsible for avoiding the occurrence of terrorist attacks. Srikant is seen grappling with his family and professional life in Season 1, as his marriage is collapsing and he also fails to detect a major terrorist threat.

The Amazon Prime web series was renewed for two more seasons following the success of The Family Man Season 1.

Season 1 of Family Man ended on a cliffhanger. Mission Zulfiqar is far from over, Srikant knows. In his evil scheme, Moosa (Neeraj Madhav) is about to succeed, as he creates a chemical plant to spew poisonous gases that will kill everyone in Delhi in 2 hours. In the chemical factory, Zoya (Shreya Dhanwanthary) and Milind (Sunny Hinduja) join but fail to avoid the leakage. The series ends when it is revealed that while Zoya cries out in despair, the poisonous gases have begun leaking.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE FAMILY MAN SEASON 2?

In The Family Man Season 2, viewers will learn what happened that night in the hotel between Srikant’s wife, Suchitra (Priyamani) and Arvind (Sharad Kelkar). This will definitely cause an upheaval in the personal life of Srikant.

The professional life of Srikant, on the other hand, would take a hit as well. Karim’s (Abrar Qazi) girlfriend got hold of the video, which is an important piece of evidence to prove that Karim is innocent. Karim was wrongly accused of being a terrorist and was killed by the T.A.S.C. Once the video is posted on social media, Srikant would be accused of killing an innocent individual.

In the lead roles, Family Man 2 stars Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani. Sharib Hashmi, Seema Biswas, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Shahab Ali, Mahek Thakur, and Vedant Sinha are part of the star cast. Samantha Akkineni is making the show’s streaming debut. In March 2020, the show’s shooting ended. The show also features Mime Gopi, Ravindra Vijay, Devadarshini Chetan, Anandsami, and N Alagamperumal, an ensemble cast from Tamil cinema.
