iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13: Design and display
From a design point of view, the iPhone 13 against the iPhone 12 doesn’t change a lot – with one very apparent exception.
That’s the result of the iPhone 13 on all four new models, which is smaller. Otherwise, the phones appear the same with the same smooth sides and Ceramic Shield for longer life.

The new versions are a little bit heavier – possibly because of bigger Apple batteries with the iPhone 13 – and new color options are available.
The role model is combined with the black (Midnight) and white (Starlight), blue hues, and the iPhone 13 (Product [RED]).
The Sierra Blue lineup, combining gold, graphite, and silver is the new color for the iPhone 13 Pro series.
The most important modifications from the iPhone 12 were done by Apple, despite the AMOLED screens in the iPhone 13 line-up have the same dimensions as those of their predecessors.
Rather, the promise Apple is higher than the iPhone 12’s screens, which is 28 percent brighter. The iPhone 13 and 13 mini can provide 800 nits of brightness and up to 1 000 nits are cranked on the iPhone 13 Pro versions.

The larger displaying article features the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the first Apple handsets using ProMotion.
This implies that the refresh rate may be dynamically modified to suit your on-screen activities between 10 Hz and 120 Hz.
Models like iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 12 mini were locked on the iPhone 12 Pro at 60Hz.
(iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13: Cameras) – pending
A notable difference between iPhone 13 and iPhone 12, despite the constant number of lenses from phone to phone, is the camera.
This is because Apple’s hardware should make the experience of a camera on the iPhone 13 entirely different.
Both the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini include the largest sensor yet to be utilized on an iPhone with a 12MP primary camera.
It should allow 47% more light for clearer images than the iPhone 12 camera. Both iPhone 13 versions are designed to provide Apple with last year’s sensor-shift optical image stabilization technology and the ultra-wide lens guarantees clarity in the darkest sections of your pictures.
More significant camera improvements are made to the iPhone 13 Pro versions. The primary sensor is larger for better low light photos, whilst the wider f/1,8 is provided by the ultra-wide-angle lens.
(On the iPhone 12 Pro, it was f/2.4) Again, this means lighter, clearer pictures, even if the light is poor. And on the iPhone 13 Pro models, the 77 mm telephoto lens delivers 3x optical zoom, improving over 2.5x zoom on the iPhone 12 Pro.
There is a Night Mode on all three cameras on the iPhone 13 Pro, and the iPhone 13 Pro has sensor-shift stabilization rather than keeping that functionality for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. We can’t wait to see the effect on better photographs of all those changes.
iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13: Performance and 5G
All versions of the iPhone 13 are powered by the A15 Bionic CPU, which upgrades the A14 Bionic chip in all iPhone 12 models.
The A14 was the quickest system-on-chip we’ve tested, which means that we’ll have to measure the telephones in order to figure exactly how fast.

Another interesting thing about iPhone 13 Pro models is that they have a five-core GPU in comparison with a 4-core iPhone 13 graphics Processor.
This should make the Pro versions, especially in comparison to iPhones last year, a gaming powerhouse.
The iPhone 12 was best able, but Apple claims the upcoming phones will support 5G bands even more. By the end of the year, Apple promises to the people they support 5G network to iPhone 13 model in 60 regions and countries with over 200 carriers.
The iPhone 13 includes pre with iOS 15. iPhone 12 devices are presently running iOS 14 but can upgrade to iOS 15 on Sept 20 when this software is updated. (Well, you’ve already got iOS 15 on your iPhone 12, assuming you’ve downloaded iOS 15 beta)
iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13: Battery life and charging
As a result, we don’t know how large the iPhone 13 batteries are in comparison to their iPhone 12 counterparts because Apple doesn’t publish battery sizes when it introduces new phones.
However, we do know that they are larger, which should result in longer battery life in most cases.
That’s good news. With the exception of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, all of the other iPhone 12 models performed far worse than average in our battery test, in which we had phones browse the web via cellular until they ran out of energy.

Apple claims that the iPhone 13 small and iPhone 13 Pro will have a battery life that is up to 1.5 hours greater than that of their iPhone 12 predecessors.
The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro Max are expected to see a 2.5-hour boost in battery life. If this is the case, the iPhone 13 Pro Max would be included in our list of the best phones for battery life.
Charging speeds are the same as they were on the iPhone 12 — 15W MagSafe wireless charging and 20W cable charging, respectively. As was the case with the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 models will not come with a charger included.

iPhone 12 vs iPhone 13: Outlook
When it comes to smartphones, you would expect them to get better with each version. However, the differences between the iPhone 13 and the iPhone 12 are rather noticeable. This would be a substantial upgrade just because of the increased storage capacity, quicker CPU, and camera enhancements. When you factor in increased battery life and — in the case of the iPhone 13 Pro versions — fast-refreshing screens, this is a significant improvement over last year’s model.
